Ex-Witch Exposes How Witches Use the 4 Spiritual Laws to Block Your Midnight Prayers

By: Grace Nalyaka, Nuru, Kenya

For many years, I walked in deep spiritual darkness. I was part of a hidden occult system that understood something many Christians still overlook today:
the spirit realm responds to laws, not emotions.

I watched believers cry, shout, groan, fast, and rise for midnight prayer. Yet many of their prayers remained unanswered, not because God ignored them but because they prayed without understanding the spiritual principles that govern alignment with heaven.

After my deliverance through Jesus Christ, I made a vow:

Every secret I once used in darkness would be exposed so believers can pray with understanding, authority, and fire.

In this testimony, I reveal the 4 spiritual laws witches once exploited to block midnight prayers, and how believers can reclaim their authority in Christ.

1. The Law of Agreement

The first spiritual law that can block your midnight prayers is the law of agreement.

Jesus Himself taught this principle:

“If two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything, it shall be done.” — Matthew 18:19

Agreement is not just about words.
It is alignment of the heart.

When I was in darkness, we used emotional manipulation to influence believers’ alignment. If we caused a believer to unconsciously agree with fear, anger, bitterness, or doubt, then their prayers lost power before they even began.

A Real Example From My Past

I remember a woman named Miriam from Nakuru. She prayed every midnight for her husband’s deliverance. Her prayers were sincere, but every night we stirred offense around her. A hurtful message. A frustrating event. A painful phone call.

By midnight, she was angry.
Her mouth prayed, but her heart agreed with bitterness.
The law of agreement blocked her prayer.

Amos 3:3 asks,
“Can two walk together except they be agreed?”

How Believers Can Break This Block

Before you pray:

  • Forgive
  • Release emotional burdens
  • Ask the Holy Spirit to align your heart

Because once your heart agrees with doubt or anger, the enemy does not need to fight you — you fight yourself.

2. The Law of Substitution

The second spiritual law witches exploit is the law of substitution.

This law is seen in Scripture — Jacob receiving Esau’s blessing (Genesis 27), and the prophetic principle in Isaiah 43:4.

In darkness, this law was twisted to create spiritual “exchanges” when people were spiritually careless or spiritually unprotected.

A Testimony From My Past

A young man named Elijah in Kisumu prayed passionately against delay. Yet spiritually, he was vulnerable. Through symbolic tools and manipulations (not literal physical events), we redirected his spiritual focus and weakened his purity and prayer authority.

Another woman in Mombasa prayed for breakthrough nightly. However, she kept an old charm passed down from her grandmother. She didn’t know it carried spiritual significance. As long as she held onto that object, it became a doorway that diverted her spiritual energy.

How Believers Can Break This Block

Before midnight prayer, do a spiritual inventory:

  • Remove ungodly objects
  • Clean your home spiritually with prayer and Scripture
  • Ask God to break every spiritual exchange
  • Declare, “No evil substitution will stand against my life!”

Sanctification closes the door to substitution.

3. The Law of Territory

The third spiritual law witches exploited is territorial authority.

Many believers forget that every place carries a spiritual atmosphere, and some areas need to be cleansed, reclaimed, or prayed over.

In Scripture, we see territorial resistance in Daniel 10, where a heavenly messenger was opposed by the prince of Persia.

A Testimony From My Past

In Eldoret, there was a street where Christians regularly fell sick or disoriented during prayer. Years earlier, a dark ritual had taken place there. The territory needed cleansing.

In a boarding school where I once operated, a particular classroom carried a heavy spiritual atmosphere. Any girl who prayed there felt sleepy, unfocused, or confused, because the space was spiritually compromised.

How Believers Can Break This Block

Before you pray:

  • Walk through your home
  • Speak Scripture aloud
  • Declare that your territory belongs to Jesus
  • Command every spiritual resistance to bow

When you reclaim your home, your prayers will no longer hit a spiritual ceiling.

4. The Law of Sacrifice

The fourth law that can block your midnight prayers is the law of sacrifice.

Every kingdom advances through sacrifice — not just physical offerings, but spiritual commitment, discipline, and consecration.

Psalm 50:5 says:

“Gather My saints who made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.”

Hebrews 12:24 reveals that the blood of Jesus speaks — louder than any other sacrifice.

A Testimony From My Past

There was a pastor’s midnight prayer group near Nasha that we attempted to weaken spiritually. While they prayed, we tried to overpower their efforts with the intensity of our rituals.

But one pastor began fasting seriously.
A living sacrifice.

Suddenly, his prayers broke through.
Why?
Because the sacrifice of a consecrated believer carries more power than any dark ritual.

Another example:
A mother in Nairobi prayed at 3:00 a.m. for her child but prayed casually and half-asleep. Meanwhile, her neighbor devoted herself intensely to dark practices.

In the spirit realm, sacrifice equals authority.

How Believers Can Break This Block

Let your prayer cost you something:

  • Your time
  • Your sleep
  • Your comfort
  • Your devotion

Do not let darkness out-discipline you.

Why Many Midnight Prayers Fail

After leaving witchcraft and surrendering to Christ, I discovered something painful:

Many Christians pray passionately, but pray without spiritual understanding.

They:

  • Pray while offended
  • Pray while surrounded by spiritual clutter
  • Pray in unclaimed territory
  • Pray without discipline or sacrifice

Darkness exploits spiritual ignorance, not spiritual weakness.

How to Pray Powerfully at Midnight

Before you rise to pray, do this:

1. Forgive before you fight

Break emotional agreements.

2. Sanctify before you speak

Clean your heart and environment.

3. Reclaim your territory

Declare your home belongs to Jesus.

4. Sacrifice before you expect results

Show God your seriousness through discipline.

These four steps align your prayer with heaven and silence every opposing force.

Prayer of Victory

Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus,
I break every evil agreement I entered knowingly or unknowingly.
I cancel every spiritual substitution against my destiny.
I reclaim my territory by the blood of Jesus.
I declare that my prayers shall pierce the heavens.
My life, my home, and my generation belong to You.
Silence every altar that speaks against my midnight prayers.
In Jesus’ mighty name—Amen.

Final Word

If you have struggled to pray at midnight, do not quit.
Your struggle is evidence of your calling.
The enemy fears who you are becoming.

Share this message with someone who needs light.

It is time to awaken a generation that prays with knowledge, power, and spiritual legality.
